Levels

Stages, badges, belts or grades — in your club’s own words.

Most clubs move children up through something. Wenbrook tracks it without making you adopt somebody else’s scheme: name your own levels, list the skills in each, and tick them off during the lesson.

Swim school

Stage

Stage 1 → Stage 7

Gymnastics club

Badge

Badge 8 → Badge 1

Martial arts

Belt

White → Black

Dance school

Grade

Primary → Grade 8

One scheme or several — a club running Learn to Swim alongside its own badge scheme keeps both, and a child can be working through both at once.

On the register

Marked during the lesson, not after it

Open a session’s register and every child’s skills are there as chips. One tap moves a skill on. It works the same on the web and in the app in your pocket — and the whole class loads at once, because poolside is no place to wait for thirty screens.

  • Not started · working on · achieved
  • The whole register in one go
  • Progress belongs to the child, not the class

For parents

“What is she actually working on?”

The question every parent asks in the car home. In Wenbrook Family they can see it: the level their child is on, how far through they are, what’s being practised right now, and the levels already earned. It updates the moment a teacher ticks something.

  • A progress bar per level
  • The skills still to come
  • Every level they’ve earned, kept

Parents follow along in the Wenbrook Family app.

How it works

Four steps, then it runs itself

  1. 01

Build it once, in your words

Add your scheme, the levels in order, and the skills that make up each one. You choose what a rung is called, so the app says “Stage 3” or “Yellow belt” — not some generic label nobody in your hall actually says.

  2. 02

Point a class at a level

Set the level a class works towards and everyone enrolled is shown as working towards it. No assigning children one at a time, and nobody loses anything when they change class.

  3. 03

    Tick skills as they happen

Skills sit right on the register: one tap each, during the lesson, on whatever is to hand. Not started, working on it, achieved — the three states a teacher actually uses.

  4. 04

    Award the level

When every skill is ticked, the level can be awarded — dated, and signed off by whoever awarded it. Print a certificate with your club’s name on it, or save it as a PDF.

What it tells you

See where children get stuck

Your reports show every level with how many are working on it and how many have earned it. Read it top to bottom and the sticking point shows itself — a level where everyone piles up is either harder than the ones around it or needs more time in the timetable.

  • Working on it vs earned, level by level
  • Alongside attendance and how full classes are
  • Worked out from your own records, not estimates
